Tliese monitoring points sl�ould be monitored twice a week. The monitoring frequency may be reduced based on the monitoring results. • Adjacent structures such as residences, garages, or retaining walls located within 25 feet of the planned shoring. The monitoring program should include monitoring for changes in both the horizontal (x and y directions) and vertical deformations. The monitoring should be performed by the contractor or the project surveyor, and the results should be promptly submitted to PanGEO for review. The results of the monitoring will allow the design team to confirm design parameters, and for the contractor to make adjustments if necessaiy�. We also recommend that the existing cociditions along the public right of way and tlie adjacent �rivate properties be photo-documented priw� to commencing earthwork at the site. 6.0 FARTIIW�RK CONS1llERATIONS b.l MATtiR1AL RE;USE The native soils underlying the site are rnoisture sensitive, and wil] become disturbed and soft when exposed to inclement weather conditions.
