Please review and respond to the <br />comments below. These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be <br />required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 2012 <br />International Building Code (IBC), the 2012 International Fire Code (IFC), the 2012 International <br />Mechanical Code (IMC), and the 2012 International Energy Conservation (IECC), as amended by the <br />State of Washington and adopted by the city of Everett. The current IBC referenced standard for <br />accessible design is the 2009 "Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities" (ICC/ANSI A117.1). Federal <br />ADA, FHA, and HUD regulations and standards, including the Fair Housing Accessibility Guidelines may be <br />more restrictive. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the <br />Building Division with two complete new sets of construction documents reflecting the <br />corrections requested. <br />Life Safetv <br />1. Please provide a detail to assure the shaft fire barrier continuity requirement of IBC 707.5. <br />2. The roof plan (SHT.A2.06) indicates an expanded roof deck. If this is the intent, additional <br />engineering will be required. Also two exits appear necessary. <br />Accessibility <br />1. All references to Type A units should be removed from sheets G0.01 and A7.01. <br />2. "Accessible units" are required to have a clear floor space on both sides of the bed. ANSI A117.1, <br />section 1002.15.1. <br />3. '�Accessible units" are required to have door maneuverability clearances in the bathrooms. <br />Section 1002.5. <br />4. All bathroom doors in both "accessible" and "Type B" units are required to have a minimum <br />clearance of 32" in accordance with sections 404.2.2. or 31 3/n" in accordance with section <br />1004.5.2.1 respectively. 2'-8"doors do not provide these. <br />5.
