On 2/14/2014 I investigated construction work being performed without required permits at 4104 Friday Ave. The
work consisted of interior improvements and installations to create a grocery store or produce stand. Interior fixtures
and shelving has been installed and constructed. Appliances have been installed.
2. A large "walk in cooler" structure is in the process of being erected adjacent to and south of the main building. This
cooler is the size of a small building.
3. A records check for required permits was conducted to ascertain if the construction activity observed was currently
permitted. It has been determined that permits have NOT been issued for the activity taking place on site.
4. Based on my observations of the work taking place and the absence of required permits, I have posted the building
with a stop work order.(dated 2/14/2014).
5. A person claiming to have responsibility for the construction work visited our office late last month. I explained to
him that permits were required and that an application including drawings would be required and expected.
6. To date, no further contact with individuals representing this property has been made.
Please initiate enforcement action on this activity as your schedule allows. Photo attachments can be viewed in our
CRW files.
Thank you.
Ted Budden
