Additional revisions or additions may be <br />required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the <br />(2012 International Building Code,) (2012 International Residential Code,) as amended by the <br />State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2012 Edition, and adopted by the <br />City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br />provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the <br />corrections requested, along with a reduced set of plans no larger than 11" x 17". <br />The Building Code does not require the Laundry Room to be heated. The drawings shall <br />clearly define the scope of work proposed. Remove the sheet(s) that are not applicable <br />to this project <br />z. The thermal envelope does need to be defined on the plans, ie. Show insulation <br />between the 3/4 Bath and the Laundry Room, Insulation in the floor over the laundry <br />room (R-30), and insulated doors between the Laundry Room and the Bonus Room <br />(U-0.30 Or less). Specify R-value and U-value of all components on the construction <br />drawings. <br />3. Provide minimum 50 CFM exhaust fan in laundry room and in 3/4 bathroom in the <br />basement. Exhaust fans shall not be vented to the north side of �he dwelling. <br />4. Provide Smoke Alarms in required locations per Section R314 of the International <br />Residential Code (IRC). Alarms shall be hard wired with battery back-up and <br />interconnected.
