f
shut off valve made by Tyco that would stop domestic use in the event of a fire sprinkler activation. I've attached the
cut sheet. Jim Venturo actually suggested it, so he is OK, but I don't know about any other departments. The system
does calc out if I don't have to add the domestic use. Perhaps you can let Paul know. I have escalated your request to the Permit Services Manager, Paul McKee, so that we can all figure out
the best next steps. If you do not hear anything back before the end of the week, feel free to drop me a line or give me
a call, and I can find out status.
Nteg
Meg Haley, RA City of [verett Permit Services
3200 Cedar St, Everett WA 98201 425.257.8813
mhalev@everettwa.o_vl ; .,'" --
From: Ken Robinson-Elmslie [mailto:infoCc.trpifire.com]
Sent: Tuesday, October 06, 2015 11:32 AM
To: Meg Haley
Subject: 2922 Hoyt Ave
Meg,
I'm preparing to turn in plans for a retrofit fire sprinkler system at 2922 and 2922-1/2 Hoyt Ave. The property is owned
and managed by Washington Home of Your Own. They have indicated that the existing 2" water meter is acceptable to
the City to be used as a combination meter for domestic and fire. This is not the current standard, so I wanted to bring
this up ahead of time. The system is designed to NFPA 13R and would have a double check vave installed in the
basement. Please let me know if you think this is going to be a red flag once submitted.
