Accessible parking should be located on the shortest accessible route of travel from <br />adjacent parking to an accessible building entrance, per IBC sectian 1106.6. <br />5. Access aisles should be shown on the drawings, per ICC A117.1-2003 section 502.4. <br />6. Accessible routes within the site should be provided per IBC section 1104.1. <br />Applicable codes include the 2009 International Building Code (IBC), the 2009 International Fire <br />Code {IFC), the 2009 International Mechanical Code (IMC), the 2009 Washingtan State Energy <br />Code (WSEC), as amended by the by the State of Washington and adopted by the Ciry of <br />Everett, The current IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2003 Accessibie and <br />Usable Buildings and Facilities A117.f-2003 (ICC/ANSI), FederalADA regu/ationsandsCandards <br />may be more restrictive. <br />These comments address building issues only.
