November 30, 2016 <br /> Bob Bolerjack, Administration, shared with the Council that staff was <br /> encouraged to implement an interview process. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Moore commented on a General Government <br /> Subcommittee discussion regarding City Council representation, districting <br /> and citizen outreach. He also encouraged Council of Neighborhoods to <br /> engage with the public school system. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher suggested the Council explore the adoption <br /> of a resolution regarding pipeline safety and protecting the city's water <br /> resource. <br /> Council members supported the proposal. Considerable discussion <br /> ensued. <br /> President Murphy agreed to refer the matter to the Public Safety <br /> Subcommittee for further review. <br /> Mayor Stephanson indicated that City staff will research the issue and <br /> report back to the Council next week. <br /> President Murphy stated the follow-up discussion will be placed on next <br /> week's agenda. <br /> Council Member Tuohy announced the Public Safety Subcommittee is <br /> scheduled to meet on Wednesday, December 14, 2016. <br /> Council Member Franklin reminded the public that the Wintertide <br /> Celebration will be held December 1, 2016, 4 p.m. — 7 p.m., at the Everett <br /> Performing Arts Center. She also invited the public to attend the Annual <br /> Holiday Bazaar on December 2, 2016, 9 a.m. — 3 p.m., at the Carl Gipson <br /> 384 <br />
