Additional revisions or additions may be <br />required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the <br />(2012 International Building Code,) (2012 International Residential Code,) as amended by the <br />State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2012 Edition, and adopted by the <br />City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br />provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the <br />corrections requested. <br />l. Specify which whole house ventilation system will be used for compliance with Section <br />M1507. 3 International Residential Code (IRC). Provide code text foe the section chosen, <br />do not simply reference the code section. Note, if a whole house fan is required in the <br />option you choose, the maximum Sone is 1.0. <br />2. Below grade walls in conditioned spaces are required to be insulated to minimum R-21 <br />on the interior, R-5 continuous rigid insulation with R-13 in 2x4 framed cavity on the <br />interior or R-10 rigid insulation on the exterior. Specify which option you ae proposing to <br />use. <br />3. Provide window designation on the floor plans. Label tempered safety glass for <br />windows located in hazardous locations as defined by Section R308 IRC in window <br />schedule ��Notes" column. <br />4. Identify egress windows on plans and on window schedule.
