The City's grant award is $100,000 which is comprised of a 75% / 25% split of federal and local dollars. The federal contribution is $75,000 and the local contribution is $25,000. The 25% City match will be paid from the Emergency Management budget. The City intends to partner with the University of Washington for assistance in upgrading the Hazard Mitigation Plan with a Professional Services Agreement to complete the project. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign the Hazard Mitigation Grant Agreement with the Washington State Military Department for updating the Hazard Mitigation Plan in the local contribution amount of$25,000. 105
