PURPOSE & DESCRIPTION: FEMA's Pre-Disaster Mitigation (PDM) program provides grants to states and communities to implement a sustained pre-disaster natural hazard mitigation program to reduce overall risk to the population and structures from future hazard events,while also reducing reliance on Federal funding in future disasters. Title: City of Everett Hazard Mitigation Plan Update . The purpose of this agreement is to provide funds to the SUBRECIPIENT for the proposed project as noted in the Statement of Work and/or Description of the Project(Attachment 3),Project Development Schedule(Attachment 4), Project Budget(Attachment 5),and the FEMA Approved Project Application(Attachment 7). The Department is the Recipient and Pass-through Entity of the 15PDM Award EMS-2016-PC-0005, which with each of its attachments is incorporated in and attached hereto as Attachment 6, and has made a subaward of Federal award funds to the SUBRECIPIENT pursuant to this Agreement. The SUBRECIPIENT is accountable to the Department for use of Federal award funds provided under this Agreement. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the DEPARTMENT and SUBRECIPIENT acknowledge and accept the terms of this Agreement, including all referenced Exhibits and Attachments which are hereby incorporated in and made a part hereof, and have executed this Agreement as of the date below.
