April 15, 2015 <br /> BID AWARD — MULTIPLE FACILITY ROOF REPLACEMENT <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson, seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher, to award bid to Hytech Roofing, Inc., the lowest <br /> responsive bidder, for the Multiple Facility Roof Replacement project <br /> in the amount of $809,900.00 plus Washington State sales tax. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Bader who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Vice President Murphy stated that the City of Everett received many <br /> written comments related to Council Bill Nos. 1503-03, 1503-04 and 1503- <br /> 05, which have been forwarded to the City Clerk as part of the permanent <br /> record. He thanked everyone for sending in their comments. <br /> COUNCIL BILL NO. 1503-03 <br /> THIRD AND FINAL READING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating an alcohol impact area in the core <br /> commercial areas of the City of Everett, and require a report to <br /> the City Council by November 30, 2015 regarding the voluntary <br /> efforts to reduce chronic public inebriation <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts, seconded by Council Member Moore, <br /> that this is declared to be the third and final reading of Council Bill No. <br /> 1503-03. <br /> Deputy City Attorney David Hall responded to questions from the April 1, <br /> 2015, City Council meeting related to the proposed ordinances. He <br /> advised that the ordinances related to creating an alcohol impact area and <br /> intersection safety were both priority recommendations by the Streets <br /> Initiative Taskforce. He stated that these are only two actions that are <br /> part of a larger holistic approach to street-level social issues. The <br /> 104 <br />
