The construction of the Sound Transit improvements began approximately three weeks later than the Amtrak improvements. This required additional time and tests related to the platforms. Concrete was delivered to the site over a longer period of time than initially forecasted, requiring additional testing. Addendum No. 1 is the only additional cost associated with this contract. It raises the total contract by an amount not to exceed $1,660.00 or a total of$5,020.00 RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign Addendum No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with Krazan and Associates, Inc. for the Amtrak and Sound Transit concrete testing and special inspection services at Everett Station 25 CG:ccamstr.doc
