During the past three years <br /> (2000 —2002), 80 animals have been processed from Gold Bar at the Everett Animal Shelter. The <br /> attached agreement formalizes the existing relationship with Gold Bar. <br /> Term and conditions of the agreement are similar to agreements that the City has entered into with other <br /> jurisdictions for the provision of animal shelter services. This includes shelter services such as holding <br /> animals at the shelter; releasing animals to owners; adoption of unclaimed animals; and, euthanizing <br /> animals. The fee charged to Gold Bar is $60.00 per animal processed. It can be annually adjusted on <br /> January 1st of each year. Either party may terminate this agreement on sixty-days written notice. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign an Animal Shelter Agreement with the City of Gold Bar. <br /> 55 <br />
