' • <br /> 1 'dr <br /> . 4. Everett shall provide receptionist, clerical and other administrative services <br /> that are necessary as a result of this agreement. <br /> 5. Everett reserves the right to refuse acceptance of certain species of animals <br /> other than dogs and cats,where in the judgement of Everett shelter staff, it <br /> does not have the facilities appropriate or available to accommodate the needs <br /> of such animals. <br /> 6. Everett further reserves the right to refuse an animal if the Everett animal <br /> shelter is at its maximum capacity. <br /> 7. Everett agrees to provide animal shelter services for animals delivered by <br /> Gold Bar for the following periods: <br /> a. seventy-two (72) hours from the hour of delivery if the animal is not <br /> licensed and has no known owner. <br /> b. 10 days from the date of delivery if the animal is licensed or has a <br /> known owner. An additional $5.00 per day per animal charge will be <br /> assessed for animals held, at Gold Bar's request, beyond the above <br /> time periods. <br /> 8. The Everett animal shelter staff, during the time period referenced in <br /> paragraph(7) above, shall deliver an animal to any person who claims to be <br /> the owner and provides satisfactory evidence of the ownership of said animal. <br /> 9. An animal may not released until all administrative, impound and board fees, <br /> as jointly established by Gold Bar and Everett, have been paid by the person <br /> seeking release of the animal. Said fees, pursuant to the terms of this <br /> agreement, shall become the property of Everett. <br /> 10. Animals that have bitten people will be quarantined for a period of 10 days <br /> and then destroyed or returned to their owner at the discretion of Gold Bar. <br /> Animals that are quarantined shall not be released until the person seeking <br /> release of the animal has paid all quarantine fees, as jointly established by <br /> Gold Bar and Everett. <br /> 11. Gold Bar agrees to provide Everett with any proposed and current copies of <br /> all applicable policies, procedures, ordinances and subsequent amendments <br /> affecting this agreement. Further, Gold Bar shall provide Everett with <br /> adequate lead-time to consider the possible impacts to this agreement and to <br /> effectuate any necessary revisions agreed to by the parties. <br /> 12. Everett will pay all costs incurred in providing animal shelter services under <br /> this agreement. <br /> 13. Everett shall have the authority to sell or dispose of animals after the time <br /> period provided in paragraph(7) above, if not claimed as provided in <br /> 5 <br /> 2 <br />
