J <br /> /•,%„ .7r.,:.iv, <br /> 001411P <br /> x <br /> rr- <br /> RESOLUTION No. <br /> An Resolution Amending the site plan approved by <br /> City Council on January 26, 2000 as a condition of the <br /> Resolution of Intent to Rezone Property Generally Located <br /> Between 41st and 42' Streets, and between Terrace Drive <br /> and the alley located between Terrace Drive and Grand Avenue. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett adopted a new Comprehensive Plan in August, 1994, in <br /> conformance with the Washington State Growth Management Act; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett considered a Comprehensive Plan amendment requested by <br /> Safeway Stores, Inc. in 1998,which resulted in City Council's adoption on January 26, 2000 of <br /> Ordinance No. 2441-00 amending the Comprehensive Plan map for the property identified in <br /> Exhibit A to 4.4 Mixed Use Commercial—Multiple Family to achieve a desired land use pattern; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conducted Public Workshops and Public Hearings in <br /> 1998 and 1999 to consider the proposed amendment to the Comprehensive Plan map designation <br /> and the zoning map designation and made a supporting recommendation to the City Council on <br /> Safeway's proposed map amendments; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held Public Hearings to consider the recommendations of the <br /> Planning Commission concerning the Safeway amendment to the Land Use Map and the <br /> rezoning of the subject property to implement the Comprehensive Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, on January 26, 2000 the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2441-00 amending <br /> the Comprehensive Plan land use designation of the area affected by this rezone action; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council found that the rezoning of the specific property described herein: <br /> 1. Is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan map designations of the Everett Comprehensive <br /> Plan; and <br /> 2. Bears a substantial relation to the public health, safety and welfare; and <br /> 3. Promotes the best long-term interests of the Everett community; and <br /> 4 ,, <br />
