The <br /> manual includes BMPs for treating stormwater runoff that new development and re- <br /> development must comply with. For all other developments, the private <br /> property owner will be responsible for stormwater BMP maintenance. The City of Everett <br /> will annually inspect privately maintained new development and re-development sites <br /> greater than or equal to one acre. As authorized by an existing surface water system <br /> ordinance, the city will notify all property owners whose stormwater BMPs are not being <br /> maintained in accordance with the approved stormwater plan within two weeks of the <br /> annual inspection. Unless an extension is requested and granted by the city, property owners <br /> will be required to correct all deficiencies within 60 days of the notice of deficiency. <br /> Milestones: 90% completion of annual inspection by October 1 of each year. <br /> 17 <br />
