CITY OF EVERETT, WASHINGTON <br /> SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br /> 2003 PAVEMENT MARKING PROJECT <br /> W.O. #3149 <br /> NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS <br /> Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the City Clerk at the City Clerk's <br /> Office, 1st Floor Wall Street Building, 2930 Wetmore, Everett, Washington 98201, until 2:00 p.m., on <br /> Tuesday, April 22, 2003, for the installation of thermoplastic pavement markings and raised pavement <br /> markers, described more completely in the specifications and contract documents, entitled "City of <br /> Everett, Washington, Specifications for "2003 Pavement Marking Project, W.O. #3149," and will then <br /> and there be opened and publicly read aloud. The engineer's estimate for this project is $33,000.00. <br /> Plans, specifications, addenda, and plan holders list for this project may be viewed or ordered on- <br /> line from Builders Exchange at http://www.bxwa.com/public/everett.html. The City of Everett <br /> strongly encourages contractors to register for the bidder's list kept at Builder's Exchange of <br /> Washington, Inc. Builder's Exchange is located at 2607 Wetmore Avenue, Everett, WA 98201. <br /> Their phone number is 425-258-1303. <br /> For technical questions regarding this project, contact Bill Saur, Project Engineer, City of Everett, at <br /> 425-7263. <br /> All proposals must be made upon the regular forms provided in the Proposal Section of the contract <br /> documents and must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in an amount not less than 5% of <br /> the successful bidder to guarantee faithful performance of the contract. <br /> The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities or informalities. No <br /> bidder may withdraw his bid after the hour set for the opening thereof.
