CITY OF EVERETT,WASHINGTON <br /> SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br /> ASPHALT CONCRETE OVERLAY-2003 <br /> W.O.#3125 <br /> NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS <br /> Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the City Clerk at the City Clerk's <br /> Office, 1st Floor Wall Street Building, 2930 Wetmore, Everett, Washington 98201, until 2:00 p.m., on <br /> Tuesday, April 29, 2003, for the construction of approximately 11,749 tons of modified Class "B" <br /> Asphalt Concrete, one and one-half inch (11/") thick on selected streets, including utility adjustments <br /> and all other appurtenances, described more completely in the specifications and contract documents, <br /> entitled "City of Everett, Washington, Specifications for "Asphalt Concrete Overlay — 2003, W.O. <br /> #3125," and will then and there be opened and publicly read aloud. The engineer's estimate for this <br /> project is $789,022.00. <br /> Specifications, addenda, and plan holders list for this project may be viewed or ordered on-line from <br /> Builders Exchange at http://www.bxwa.com/public/everett.html. The City of Everett strongly <br /> encourages contractors to register for the bidder's list kept at Builder's Exchange of Washington, <br /> Inc. Builder's Exchange is located at 2607 Wetmore Avenue, Everett, WA 98201. No <br /> bidder may withdraw his bid after the hour set for the opening thereof. The City further reserves the <br /> right to make the bid award as deemed in the best interest of the City. <br /> The right is reserved by the City to postpone the award for a period of forty-five (45) days after bid <br /> opening. <br /> The Contractor will be required to comply with all local.
