3 2.7 The City of Everett may require renters to pay for security services and/or other services based upon the event to take place. 2.8 Use of the fourth floor meeting and banquet facility, known as the Weyerhaeuser Room and/or outdoor space will be based on availability and compatibility of the event with respect to the building's tenants and businesses and residents near Everett Station. 2.9 Applications for City of Everett Authorized Reduced Rate must be in writing and directed to the Director of Transportation§ervices. (Exhibit E) 2.9.1 City of Everett Authorized Reduced Rate Users may be replaced by Full Payment Users up to three-weeks prior to the scheduled event. 2.9.2 City of Everett Authorized Reduced Rate Users will be given first right of refusal to pay the prevailing fee to assure use, before the Weyerhaeuser Room can be rented to another party. 3.0 Denial of Application 3.1 The City may deny an application for use if, among other reasons: 3.1.1 Either the Weyerhaeuser Room or outdoor space has already been applied for reservation at the time of the application submittal. 3.1.2 The applicant does not demonstrate the ability to meet eligibility requirements, any other rules or regulations covered in this policy, Procedure or accompanying contract agreements. 3.1.3 It is found that the application contains false or misleading information regarding the planned activity. 3.1.4 If, after investigation, it is deemed that the safety, comfort, and convenience of the public use of the facilities-or in the area adjacent to the facility-would be unduly disturbed, the application may be denied. Restrictions may also be imposed or a different date, time, facility or location suggested, so as to alleviate such burden. 3.1.5 It is deemed that the event would have a significant environmental impact or cost impact to the City. 2 Weyerhaeuser Room—Exhibit A i0
