The update of the Comprehensive Plan is required to use new population and employment <br /> data projected to 2025 from Everett's current 2012 projection. Our current Comprehensive Plan was <br /> adopted in 1994 and the City is required to update it every 10 years in coordination and cooperation <br /> with Snohomish County and other jurisdictions. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Resolution establishing a Municipal Urban Growth Area for the City of Everett for purposes of <br /> establishing a planning area for the upcoming Comprehensive Plan Update in response to a request <br /> from Snohomish County and Snohomish County Tomorrow <br /> 20 <br />
