CITY Agreement Between the City of Everett and Animal Rescue Foundation of Everett, WA This agreement is made and entered into this Z�� day of bm by and between the City of Everett (the "City") and Animal Rescue Foundation of Everett, WA, a Washington non-profit corporation ("ARF"). RECITALS 1. Everett Animal Services ("EAS") is a department of the City that provides animal services including shelter and care for lost or unwanted animals and adoption services. It also provides animal control services. 2. ARF is a nonprofit corporation organized under the laws of the State of Washington and a charitable organization with the mission of"[changing] the lives of shelter animals through humane education of our community, financial support of medical care for animals in the care of the Everett Animal Shelter, and increased recognition of the shelter that inspires adoptions into our local community." 3. The City and ARF desire to enter this Agreement to establish practices for the mutual benefit of the parties. AGREEMENT For good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are acknowledged, the City and ARF agree: City of Everett Responsibilities 1. EAS may, from time to time and subject to all applicable laws and regulations, donate to ARF discarded, surplus shelter materials and other items in its inventory, to assist ARF with fundraising activities to support ARF's mission. 2. EAS will provide space at the Everett Animal Shelter for ARF to conduct its programs and store program supplies so long as the space is not needed for shelter operations. Such space will include space for an ARF employee or volunteer to conduct ARF administrative activities and act as a liaison with EAS. 3. EAS will provide use of a desktop phone for the sole purpose conducting ARF business. ARF will comply with all City of Everett telecommunications policies.
