Additional revisions or additions may be <br />required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the <br />(2009 International Building Code,) (2009 International Residential Code,) as amended by the <br />State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2009 Edition, and adopted by the <br />City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br />provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the <br />corrections requested. <br />1. The plans shall clearly define the location, nature and extent of the work proposed and <br />show in detail that it will conform to the provisions of the 2009 International Residential <br />Code (IRC), 2009 Washington State Energy Code (WSEC) and relevant laws, ordinances <br />and regulations. <br />2. Show how proposed ADU complies with the requirements of the WSEC. <br />3. Provide detail(s) for one-hour fire-resistive construction between existing dwelling and <br />proposed accessory dwelling unit (ADU). <br />4. Provide smoke alarms per section R314 IRC. Show on plans. <br />5. Provide carbon monoxide alarms per R315 IRC. Show on plans. <br />6. Provide minimum 100 CFM exhaust fan in kitchen of ADU, and provide minimum 50 CFM <br />exhaust fan in bathroom of ADU. <br />7. Per discussion with M. Turpin, provide detail(s) for new window well constructed per <br />R310.2 IRC to convert existing hobby room in basement into a bedroom.
