3 OVERVIEW OF DESIGN WORK The design work will be conducted with participation by the City and the City's designated GC/CM contractor. City staff and staff from the GC/CM contractor will be assumed to participate in regularly scheduled meetings during the course of design to provide input to the design process. Decisions, discussions,and information to be transferred will be documented. It is further assumed in this Scope of Work that the GC/CM contractor will lead efforts to develop the construction schedule,construction sequencing,principal construction cost estimates,to review the design for constructibrlity. The GC/CM contractor will also provide guidance as to the level of detail required in the design products. This scope of work is based on Schedule A improvements to the Everett Water Pollution Control Facility (EWPCF),as defined in the 2003 Everett Water Pollution Control Facility-Facilities Plan and Basis of Design Report. The schedule A project represents the first stage of implementation of the 2022 project that was based on 2022 flows,loads,and loading thresholds. Table I lists the Schedule A improvements. The Schedule A Improvements are discussed in more detail below. Table 1.
