Expenditure Required $ 419,275.20 Account Number(s): Amount Budgeted $ 280,000.00 342-5050000494 Additional Required $ 139,275.20 SUMMARY STATEMENT: Through a series of actions, including adoption of Ordinance 2638-02 creating a fund for Special Events Center Project Improvements and Public Space Facility Construction along with the approval of the City/PFD Financing Interlocal, the Council authorized the design and construction of the public space component of the Special Events Center. Botesch,Nash and Hall of Everett, WA,was chosen to design the"Tenant Improvements" portion of the Public Space Facility at the Everett Special Events Center. The project included conference areas, offices, lease areas and a large kitchen. Botesch, Nash and Hall and their consultants provided extra services beyond the scope of the original agreement. The revised agreement amount includes construction administration in an amount not to exceed S 37,000.00. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign an Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with Botesch, Nash and Hall for Design Services for Public Space at the Everett Special Events Center. .1
