Existing Stormwater Treatment and Detention Facilities <br /> ❖ Approximately 20%of the Existing PDA has been provided with water quality <br /> treatment via a biofiltration swale constructed in 1998 during playfield upgrades. <br /> ❖ In addition,the 1998 playfield upgrades provided sub-drainage for about one-half of <br /> the total playfield areas. Sub-drainage does provide some attenuation of existing <br /> peak flowrates. <br /> Developed Site Conditions <br /> The Everett Public Schools proposes to construct a new parking lot,two new access <br /> points,one redeveloped access point, and also proposes to provide minor sidewalk, entry, <br /> striping and signage improvements. <br /> Specific elements of the project include the following: <br /> AREA A—NORTHWEST PARKING <br /> Northwest ParkinR Area —A new parking lot is proposed located at the <br /> northwesterly portion of the school site and is adjacent to SR-527. The <br /> daycare/church and existing parking areas are planned to be demolished to <br /> accommodate the new parking improvements. <br /> North Access Improvement —Everett Public Schools intends to demolish the <br /> existing child care/church facility north of the school parking lot and construct a new <br /> private student and vehicular access from 127`h Place SE to the new northwest <br /> parking lot. <br /> AREA B —LOT 7/SOUTH ACCESS <br /> Lot7/South Access Improvement —Everett Public Schools intends to acquire Lot 7 <br /> and construct a new private student and vehicular(bus)access from 1291 Place SE to <br /> the Bus Loading Area. <br /> South Bus Loading/Parking Area —This parking area is located at the southwest edge <br /> of the school site and is currently operating as a bus-loading zone. Except for <br /> removal of pavement where Lot 7 Access Improvements tie into existing pavement, <br /> only sidewalk,striping and signage improvements are anticipated. <br /> AREA C —WEST PARKING LOT=SWAP or EQUIVALENT AREA <br /> West ParkinR Area -This parking area is located at the westerly edge of the school <br /> site and is adjacent to SR-527. Sidewalk, striping and signage improvements are <br /> anticipated. <br /> SR-527 Access Improvements— The northerly entry from SR-527 to the West <br /> Parking Lot is proposed to move approximately 80 feet south.
