WHEREAS, City Council intends to grant such authority consistent with the authority it granted <br /> for public works projects in Ordinance 2761-04; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett has a 2.88% share of project costs, which is presently <br /> approximately$1.23 million, including contingencies; and <br /> WHEREAS, if this were a City public works project, Ordinance 2761-04 would authorize total <br /> cumulative change orders up to $198,000; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT that: <br /> The Mayor or his or her designee is hereby authorized to agree to additional work by the <br /> Regional Team, the vendor, ERG, or the consultants to the project, such as IBI, and to execute <br /> change orders and contract amendments if: <br /> (1) The cumulative total of such change orders and contract amendments do not exceed <br /> One Hundred Ninety-eight Thousand Dollars ($198,000.00); or <br /> (2) A change order or contract amendment has no impact on costs for which the City of <br /> Everett is responsible, such as a change order benefiting and paid for by another <br /> agency; or <br /> (3) A change order or contract amendment extends the duration of the contract no more <br /> than one hundred twenty calendar days from the current contractual completion date <br /> of January 19, 2007. <br /> Councilmember Introducing Resolution <br /> Council President <br /> Passed and approved this 12 day of October , 2005 <br />
