Create a bid item on a per week basis to pay for the <br /> additional supervision and temporary facilities required as a result the impact of the redesign of the <br /> structural earth wall. <br /> Item#76—Survey and Final Cleanup. Create a bid item on a lump sum basis to pay for the additional <br /> construction survey for the new structural soil nail wall and final jobsite area cleanup costs. <br /> Item#77—Traffic Control Supervisor. Create a bid item on a per hour basis to pay for those hours <br /> during the day when the on site nagger performs functions of a traffic control supervisor. <br /> Item#78—Quarry Spalls. Create a bid item on a per ton basis to pay for the placement of quarry spalls <br /> on the slope above the top of structural wall as shown on the revised"For Construction"drawing sheets 1 <br /> thru 4 of 4 by GeoEngineers, Inc. dated 10-21-03. <br /> Item#79—Wilder Assistance to Malcolm. Create a lump sum bid item to pay for the labor and • <br /> equipment work that Wilder Construction Company will perform to assist it's subcontractor,Malcolm <br /> Drilling,during the installation of the soil nail shotcrete wall construction. <br /> Item#80—TESC. Create a force account bid item to pay for the TESC work,(Temporary Erosion and <br /> Sedimentation Control),that will be used to control sloughing of the exposed slopes during the excavation <br /> stage to construct the soil nail shotcrete wall. <br /> Item#81-Electrical Costs Due to Structural Wall Change. Create a lump sum bid item to pay for <br /> changes to the size of the luminaries in the vicinity of the structural wall and the location where they are <br /> being installed as a result of the structural wall redesign. <br /> Item#82—Additional Shotcrete Concrete. Create a lump sum bid item to pay for the additional <br /> shotcrete concrete required to construct the soil nail structural wall due to unforeseen conditions. <br /> Item#83—6'High, 1"x6"Cedar Fence. Create a bid item on a price per linear foot basis to install 6' <br /> high, 1"x6"cedar fence. <br /> B. Justification of the items being amended or added by this change order <br /> Item#2—Traffic Control Labor. The original estimated hours of traffic control labor were 1,260 hours. <br /> There were 90 working days allowed in the contract. This represents 14 hours of labor for traffic control <br /> on average per day,(or less than 2 flaggers per day). A project such as this would normally average <br /> roughly 4 each full time flaggers per day over the time line in the project.
