Their feeling is that the request for a parking variance in this area should be denied. tlr. and Mrs. Paoadimitriou of 3113 Oakes were against the qrantinq of the variance a� they felt the neighborhood is impacted with too many cara now with not enough off-street parking. Thia new pro- ' posal will generate even more traffic with not enough off-street parking provided. � Mr. Bhend responded by stating: � � 1. The zoning is R-5 and this permita high rise units to be conatructed. { 2. The future will ahow cro�.ding. 3. He will not create a people problem with only four (4) . off-street paikinq spaces, as a comparison to asking for sixteen (16) or twenty-f:ve (25) off-street parking stalls. ' After visually viewing the subject property and considering all the fccts and testimony, it was moved by Mr. Zook and seconded by Mr. Russell to deny the applicant' s renuest as it does not meet all the requirementa of Section 19.70. 060 of the Everett Municipal Code, Paragraphs 1, 2, 3, and 4.
