The <br /> project will also construct new traffic signals at the intersection of Rucker Avenue and 37th Street. <br /> Bids were previously opened for this project on August 10, 2004. The bids received, at that time, were <br /> significantly over the amount budgeted and City Council authorized a rejection of all bids. <br /> The budget for this project is $343,000.00 and the source of funds is Fund 301 —Arterial Streets. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the call for rebid of the 2004 Signal Improvement Project with the bid opening to be scheduled for <br /> Tuesday,November 16, 2004. <br /> Rebid-2004 Signal Imp.Proj..doc 3 <br />
