SUBJ: 1717 Baker I received a call from Ernie Ackley today and he said he was repreaenting a tenant by the name of Judy Bosa who lived in one of the apartment units in this building . Mr. Ackley said that the owner of the property, David Guadalupo, had PUD turn the electrical service off for tr+o of the apartment unita in the building and one of thoae unita is unoccupied while the other unit is occupied by Judy. I asked if the PUD bill was overdue and Mr. Ackley indicated that the bill was current and PUD told him that they could turn the x�ervice off at the owners request even if someone was living there. Mr. Ackley indicaccd that the owner of ttie property had thia done in retaliation of the tenant, Judy, contacting Code Enforcement c�ncerning problema with the apartment unit which the owner .�oui� not repair. I adviaed Mr. Ackley that this particular aituation wa9 a civil mattar and that the zoning violations would be handled by the City staff. I indicated that if there were atructural, electrical (auch a faulty electrical) , plumbing or mechanical problema with the building, to give me a call and I would be glad to inapect.
