Conclusior��. Gi-anting this variance would allow the Appli- <br /> cant a property riqht possessed by others in the vicinity <br /> and zone. <br /> Criterion No. 3• <br /> That the authorization of such variance will not be materially <br /> detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to property in <br /> the vicinity or zone in which the property is located. <br /> a. Findina: The lot is located on the end of a dead end <br /> street with Forest Park property abutting on the south and <br /> east (Pigeon Creek ravine also abuts on the east) . The <br /> wider driveway would provide a turn around for emerqency <br /> vehicles, since this is an older plat and does not have a <br /> cul de sac at the end of the street. <br /> b. Conclusion: Granting this variance would not be detrimen- <br /> tal. to the public welfare or injurious to others in the vi- <br /> cinity and zone. <br /> Criterion No. 4• <br /> That the granting of such variance will not �dversely affect <br /> the Comprehensive General Plan. <br /> a. Findina: The General Plan designation is single family <br /> residential. <br /> b. Conclusion: The proposed use is accessory to the sinqle <br /> family use and so granting this variance would not adverse- <br /> ly affect the General Plan. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Adjustment of the City of Ever- <br /> ett does hereby order that the variance be GRANTED to allow a <br /> thirty foot driveway in the front setback instead of the twen- <br /> ty f.00t width allowed by code. <br /> The action of the Board of Adjustment in GRANTING a variance <br /> shall be final and conclusive, unles•a within fifteen (15) days <br /> from the date of issuance and signing of this order by the <br /> Chairman of the Boarcl, an aqgrieved person or persons obtains <br /> a writ of certiorari from the Superior Court of Washington <br /> for Snohomish County for the purpose of review of the action <br /> taken. � <br /> .- <br /> r y�,,,i�'� <br /> DATE: November 13, 1789 Fw°� � � <br /> Chairman, Board of Adjustment <br /> Notes to Applicant: <br /> i.
