CONTINGENCY PLAN <br />If 20% of the installed plants are severely stressed during any of the inspections, or it <br />appears 20% may not survive, additional plantings oi the same species may be added <br />to the planting areas. Additional continge•.cy elements may include, but will not be <br />limited to: more aggressive weed control, a�imal control, mulching, replanti��g witt. <br />larger plant material, species substitution, fertilization, soil amendments, and/or <br />irrigation. <br />PERFORMANCE BONDING <br />A performance bond or other assurance device shall be provided to the City of Everett <br />for the period of five years from the completion of the project, in the amount of 90% <br />of the estimated cost for plant material and labor. This bond shall be released at the <br />end of five years, upon a successful determination by the City of Eve� ett for all <br />portions of this miligation project.
