Additional revisions or additfons may be <br />required by other departrnents (such as Utilitfes, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the <br />(2009 International Buflding Code,) (2009 Intemational Residential Code,) as amended by the <br />State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2006 Edition, and adopted by the <br />City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. <br />In order for the processing of your appiiwtion to continue, it will be necessary to <br />provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the <br />corrections requested. <br />1. The plans as submitted do not meet the prescriptive requirements for lateral bracing. <br />Provide wind and seismic analysis prepared by a licensed Washington State structural <br />engineer. <br />2. The plans do not meet the requirements of the Washington State Energy Code (WSEC), <br />Table 6-1 (Optfon III requires glazing to be U-0.30 or less). Show rigid insulation at <br />perimeter of the monolithic slab. Insulation shall extend from the top of the slab for a <br />minimum dfstance of 24". Insulation shall be protected from impact and ultra-violet <br />light. Show on plans. <br />3. Footings shall rest on undisturbed soil not les< than 18" below the finished grade; show <br />requlrement on plans. <br />4. Provide Yz" diameter anchor bolts at 48" o.c,, 7" minimum embedment and wlthin 12" of <br />each end of each p(ece. <br />5. Provide 3" x 3" x'/a" plate washer on all anchor bolts in braced wall lines; show <br />requirement on plans. <br />6. Show required re-inforcing steel in foundation detail. <br />7. Provide #4 rebar dowels at 18" o.c. into exisdng foundation to resist dffferential settling. <br />8.
