January 27, 1993 <br />RESOLUTION - CLAIMS <br />To adopt Resolution No. 3732 aut6orizing claims against the City oC Everett <br />in the amount of 52,007,148.19 for the period of January 9, 1993, through <br />January 15, 1993. <br />��� a iDI�ALL / WAT'ER TRANSMISSION LINE N��. 2 REPLACEMENT <br />To authorize a call for bids for the Water Transmission Line No. 2 <br />Repiacement Project. <br />w.o. asvv �. asa�, <br />BID CALL - PURCHASE OF 4 MIWI-BUSES <br />To aut6orize a call [or bids for the purchase oi 4 mini-buses. <br />vJO. a5�1 �- ��'7W <br />BID CALL - SOUTHWEST EVERETT INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS <br />To authorize a call for bids for the "Southwest Everett Intersection <br />Improvements" project. <br />Roll was called on the consent agenda items with all councilmen voting yes. <br />Motion carried. <br />�,�ao C�e��- a(�d <br />PUBLiC HEARING <br />President Diamond opened the public hearing regarding amending the Land Use <br />Map of the Everett General Plan for property located at 8220 Beverly <br />Boulevard. <br />Allan Giffen, Planning, explained that two actions were needed: 1) amending of <br />the Lanc: Use Iviap; and 2) adopting the Resolution of Intent to Rezone. He <br />showed slides of the property and described the azeas surrounding the property. <br />1'he land use is presently designated as "single family detached" and the <br />proposal is to change it to "neighborhood business" in order to rezone the <br />property for a small retail business. Mr. Griffen further pointed out the the <br />property is currently in violaGon of the zoning code and thus the reason for the <br />request. The Planning Commission has recommended that the City Council <br />approve the requested amendment. They favored a B-1 designation over a C-1 <br />and recommended certain specific conditions binding upon the property as <br />32 <br />
