These appear to meet with the provisions of the state school code, WAC 248.64 and are provisionally approved, with the exception of Jefferson Elementary. Those provisions are outlined below. Jefferson utilizes an on -site sewage disposal system. A letter from this office to Everett School District dated June 1, 1987 (copy enclosed) outlines concerns with the condition of that system. Two portable classrooms were allowed to be set-up in 1987, however we cannot condone further expansion of this school until the on -site system has been addressed. Prior to acceptance of the expansion of Jefferson Elementary, approval of the Sanitation Section of the Snohomish Health District will be required, Contact Randy Darst at 339.5270. The remaining schools can be approved provided: 1. Unit ventilators be surveyed and adjusted to meet the requirements of Section 320 (Sound Control) of WAC 248-64. A Certification of Compliance will be required after the completion of testing as outlined in your letter of July 30, 1990. 2.
