MITIGATION OF ADVERSE IMPACTS BY SEPA <br /> 1. Any grading/fill on this site shall be done so as to not impact the surrounding properties. <br /> (SEPA Earth, Land and Shorcline Use Policies.) <br /> 2. Broadway is designated as a "Gateway" corridor in the City's General Plan. The General <br /> Plan states, "Because Everett wants to develop and promote an attractive images, all <br /> entry corridors into the City should be designated as "Gateways" and standards should be <br /> applied to developments along such "Gateways" relating to building design, landscaping, <br /> signage, outdoor storage and other aesthetic consideralions evhat will serve to upgrade <br /> Everett's image."The City will work wilh lhe applicant to insure that lhe building design <br /> and landscaping are in keeping with the gateway corridor standards (SEPA Transportation <br /> and Land Use Policies) <br /> The lead agency for this proposal has determined that it does not have a probable significant <br /> adverse impact on the environment. An Environmental Impact Stalement is not required under <br /> RCW 43.21 C.030(2)(c). This determination assumes compliance with Stale law and City <br /> ordinances relaled to general environmental protection including but not limited to right-of-way <br /> improvement requirements, drainage, etc. This decision was made after revi�w of a completed <br /> environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency. This information is <br /> available lo the public on request. This Miligated Determination of Non-Significance is <br /> specifically conditioned on complia�ce with the conditions attached hereto which are <br /> incorporated by reference as if fully set forth herein. <br /> During the fourteen (14) day comment period which ended on April 9, 2009, the Cily received a <br /> letter and accompanying malerials providing the response of Everetl Community Coilege to the <br /> City's Proposed Mitigation Determination of Non-Significance (SEPA#09-001), dated March 25, <br /> 2009.
