These comments address building issues only, additional <br /> revisions or additions may be required by other departmenu (such as Utilities, Planning <br /> or Fire). All references refer to the 1997 Uniform Building Code, as amended by the <br /> State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 1997 Edition, unless stated <br /> otherwise. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br /> provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of drawings retlecting the <br /> corrections requested. <br /> General <br /> l. The northem exterior wall of the addition should be a minimum o£ one-hour fire <br /> resistive constructiori per Table 5-A (note that the minimum requirements for one- <br /> hour walls are 5/8" type X gypsum waliboard nailed to each side of wood studs. At <br /> an exterior wall, the exterior layer of gypsum wallboard should be 5/S" rype X <br /> gypsum sheathing for water resistance).
