These comments address building issues only, additional revisions or additions may be required by other departmenu (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 1997 Uniform Building Code, as amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 1997 Edition, unless stated otherwise. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of drawings retlecting the corrections requested. General l. The northem exterior wall of the addition should be a minimum o£ one-hour fire resistive constructiori per Table 5-A (note that the minimum requirements for one- hour walls are 5/8" type X gypsum waliboard nailed to each side of wood studs. At an exterior wall, the exterior layer of gypsum wallboard should be 5/S" rype X gypsum sheathing for water resistance). The gypsum sheathing should be installed over any wall sheathing, and under building paper(house wrap) and siding. GA File No. WP 8105 2.
