A portable fire ertinguisher with a minimum U.L. rating of 2-A:20-B:C shall be <br /> provided and so located that it wiil not be more than 75 feet from any pump, <br /> dispenser or fill-pipe opening. <br /> 18. Fire flow requiren�ents for this structure are 1,500 gpm. <br /> 19. The contractor shall provide ihe Fire Marshal with specifications for tanks, piping, <br /> dispensers and ieak detection equipment prior to installation. <br /> 20. Installation of new undergrnund storage tanks must meet the requirements of the <br /> new State Underground Storage Tank regulations (173-360 WAC). Copies of <br /> these regulations and required forms are available from the Department of <br /> Ecology by calling (206)407-7202, or toll-free in state 1-800-826-7716. <br /> 21. A notice of intent to install tanks musl be filed with the Department of Ecology at <br /> least 30 days prior �to installati•�n. Within 30 days after coming into service, the <br /> tanks must be registered with the Department of Ecology on a state notification <br /> form. <br /> 22. All firms praviding tank installation services must be registered with the <br /> , ' Department of Ecology. The supervisor on site during installation must be <br /> licensed by passing an exam administered by the Intemational Fire Code <br /> Institute or by another state with which Washington•has a reciprocity agreement. <br /> Within 30 deys after coming into service, an installation checklist fortn must be <br /> provided to the Department of Ecology by the company that pertormed the <br /> installation work. <br /> 23. Stage I vapor recovery equipment is required on all new gasoline dispensing <br /> facilities with a total gasoline nominal storage capacity greater than 10,000 <br /> gallons. Also, a certified stage II vapor recovery system is required on all new <br /> gasoline dispe�sing facilities with greater than 10,000 gallons gasoline nominal <br /> storage capa;.ity in westem Washington counties (ref. Chapter 173-491, WAC, <br /> 6/93). <br /> . <br />
