The following are our responses to your correction
comments.
1. Provide pedestrian audib/e warning device at Pharmacy drive-thru location.
Information regarding the pedestrian audible warning device has been included in
the project specifi;,ation manual and shown on the attached revised floor plan
drawing A2.1.
The following information was sent to us by Karl Lundberg at Barghausen Consulting
Engineers in response to City comments:
Sheet C1: We have changed the name of the reference to the City of Everett Public
Works Department, as requested.
$11€t2: Storm drainage from the building has been redirected to go to the catch
basin at the northeast corner of the intersection of Broadway and 19th Street.
Therefore, the existing combined storm sewer stub north of the intersection will not be
used by the new building for roof drainage andler sewer service. We have removed all
applicable notes regarding the use of the existing combined sewer/storm drain stub.
Gas iraps have been called out on the new catch basins, as requested.
Approximately 2,000 square feet of paved area, representing the drive-through portion
north oi the building, is still directed to go to new Catch Basin No. 2, which is located on
the existing 8-inch combined storm drain/sanitary sewer in the alley east of the building.
Because all roof drainage is being directed to the system in Broadway, there is actually a
reduction in drainage area going to the combined system in the alley. Directing this
minimal amount of drainage to the alley system avoids the contractor having to make a
deep cut into a minimum of three lanes of Broadway.
Sheet3: As previously mentioned,we have eliminated the connection to the existing
side sewer north of the intersec;ion. We have labeled the connections to the water main
to be installed by the City of Everett Water Department at the developer's expense, as
requested. Also, we have called out a 1-inch water meter rather than a 1 1/2-inch, as
I Ilh 1V.MARMC9CW DRIVF SfCOYD f!<ioR •[V[REfT.WA 9B20i-2098 • PHONE A25-259-3161 FAX 425-949-7554 E-MAIL o11lceOdykemon.nat
