The purpose of this study was to <br /> intemret gencral surface and subsurface site conditions, from which �ve could evaluate the 1'easibiliry of <br /> the projcct and formulate design recommendations concerning site prepantion, foundation <br /> recommcndations, site drainage, suvctural fill, and other considerations. Our scope of services consisted <br /> of a surface reconnaissance, a subsurface exploration, geotechnical enalyses, and report preparation. Our <br /> work was performed in general accordance with our Proposed Scope of Services and Cost Estimate <br /> (ADAPT Proposal No. P-2072,July 9,2002). This report has been prepared for tl�e exclusive use of Kane <br /> Environmcntal, Ine., Sconzo - Hallstrom Architecu, and their agents, for specific application to this <br /> project in accordance with generally accepted geotechnical �nginccring practice. <br /> ' PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> The project�vill consist of razing the existing site buildings on the parcel,and the consWction of a single- <br /> srory rctail building nnd associated asphalt-paved parki�g and driveway areaz. IIased upon provided <br /> plans, the retail store will have a footprint of approximately I5,500 square feet. IL is our understanding <br /> that the proposed building feamres may include a loading dock and dri��e-through prescription service. <br /> 1'he balance of the subject parcel to thc south would be utilized for asphalt-paved p:vking and pavcd <br /> easemenls, supplemented �vid� minor landscaped areas.
