EXHIBIT A <br /> SCAPE OF WORK <br /> �� All suAaces to be dry from wet cleaning prior to review by the Monitoring Technician. If <br /> any debris or dust is found, repeat the cleaning. <br /> F. Provide adequate iighting on all surfaces in the work area to be subje�eted to visual <br /> inspection, provide ladders,as required to provide access to ail surtaces in the area to be <br /> subjected to visual inspection by the Monitoring Technicfan. <br /> G. The work area wiil be considered visually clean when there is no evidence of visible dust <br /> or debris on any surtaces. <br /> H. Foilowing acceptance of cleaning by Owner's Monitoring Technician, apply one coat of <br /> approved sealant to all dried, exposed�urfaces, includin�floor and wall plastic, in work <br /> area. Allow sealant sufficient Gme to dry,a minimum ot two hours. <br /> SCHEDIiLE OF AIR SAMPLES <br /> A. Clearance Air Testing&Analysis by Phase Contrast Microscopy(PCM}: <br /> 1. Sampling: !n each regulated area,a minimum of one dearance sampie will be <br /> taken inside the regulated area. 5amples will be collected at a minimum of 1280 <br /> liters oi air. <br /> 2. Analysis: Fbers on each fiMer will be measured using the NIOSH Method 7400, <br /> Revision A3 dated May 15, 1989,en6Ued"Fbers"published in lhe NIOSH Manual of <br /> � Analydcdl�Aethods. <br /> 3. Acceptence Criteria:Deoontamination of the work area meets the requiremerrt of <br /> this test when every dearance area sample indicates an airbome concentradon of <br /> fibers of less than 0.01 f�ers per cubic centimeter with 95 peroent confldence level, i <br /> If any sample is above this dearance level,then the decrornaminaUon is incomplete <br /> and re-cleaning is required. <br /> FINAL CLEARANCE(ASBEST05) � <br /> A. After the work area is found to be visually dean,air sampies will be taken and analyzed. <br /> ' B.
