' <br /> Condifions of Use <br /> Mytime saw-cutting or surfacing operations take place, these management practices shall be utilized. <br /> Sawcutting and surfacing operations include,but are not limited t�,thc following: <br /> 1. Sawing <br /> 2. Coring <br /> 3. Grinding <br /> 4. Roughening <br /> 5. Hydro-dcmolition <br /> 6. Bridge and road surfacing. <br /> Design and Insfallation Specificatfons <br /> I. Slurty and cun;ngs shall be vacuumed during cutting and surFacing operations. <br /> 2. Slurry and cuttings shall not rcmain on permancnt concretc or asphalt pavement ovemight. <br /> 3. Slutry and cuttings shall not diain to any natural or conshucted drainagc comcyancc. <br /> 4. Collected slurry and cuttings shall be disposed of in a manner lhat does not violate graundwatcr <br /> or surfacc water quality standards. <br /> 5. Proccss water that is gencratcd during hydro-dcmolition,surface roughening or similar operations <br /> shall not drain to any nahual or conshucted drainage conveyance and shall be disposed oC in a <br /> manncr that does not violata groundwater or surfacc water quality standards. <br /> 6. Clcaning waste material and demolition debris shall be handlcd and disposcd of in a manner Ihat <br /> does not cause contamin�tion of water. ►f the arca is swepi with a pick-up swceper,the matenal <br /> must bc hauled out of the arca to an appropriete sitc. <br /> Maintenance Standards <br /> Continually monitor operations to dctecminc whether slurry,cuttings,or process water could enter waters <br /> of the state.
