 2. Construdion Access - Construction access will be from North Broadway and 10`" Street by
a stabilized construction entrance per BMP C105.
3. Control Flow Rates-[nterceptor swales and a sediment trep will control runoff during
rypicai storm events.
4. Sediment Controls-Silt fencing and storm drain !;:t protection will prevent sediment from
leaving the site where interceptor swales cannot collect and treat runoff.
5. Sabilize Soils-Disturbed areas not immediately worked.shall be covered with plastic
sheeting, mulch, or other BMPs, as required in the Washirgton SWte Department of
Ecology(DOE) Manual.
6. Protect Slopes -Ali soils on slopes shall be stabilized per Element 5 by covering exposed
soils with plastic sheeting, mulch, or other BMPs, as required by the DOE Manual. Slopes
will also be protected through use of interceptor swales, check dams, and other BMPs to
provide an alternative drainage path away from slopes.
7. Protect Drain Inlets -All catch basins in and adjacent to the construction area will be
protected by storm drain inlet protection per BMP C220.
8. Stabilize Channels and Outlets-Temporary interceptor swaies shall be stabilized using
BMPs suggested by the DOE, including outlet protedion and channel lining as necessary.
9. Control Pollutants-All pollutants and construction materials shall be handled in a manner
to prevent stormwater contamination. Costruction debris shall be handled and disposed
of in a legal manner offsite. Construction BMPs shall be used to prevent or treat
contamination of stormwater.
10. Control Dewatering - Dewaterig for construction of foundations and trenches, which has
similar characteristics to stormwater, wili be discharged into a controlled conveyance
system to be treated in a sediment trap or portable sediment tanks.
11. Maintain BMPs -The Contractor shali be responsible for maintaining all BMPs.
12. Manage the Project -The Contractor shall be responsible for inspecting and maintaining
Temporary Erosion and Sedimentation Control (TESC)facilities. The Construction SWPPP
shall be retained onsite, and shall be kept up to date. The Contractor will provide the
name and contact information for the designated Certified Erosion ad Sedimentation
Control Lead (CESCL) to the City prior to beginning construction.
4.O ANALYSIS AND DESIGN OF RUNOFF CONTROL BMPS
The interim policy for stomrwater management within Combined Sewer Areas requires thE City of
Everett'S 2010 Stormwater Management hlanual Minimum Requirement a7 - Flow Control be me;
for the project site, with the exception that the pre-developed conditions can be modeled as
existing conditions, rather than Forested conditions. Minimum Requirement #6 - Runoff
Treatment is not required for projects within Combined Sewer Areas.
The Flow control requirement is summarized as follows: stormwater discharges shalf match
developed discharge durations to pre-developed durations for the range of predeveloped
discharge refes om 50 percent of[he 2-year recurrence in[erval peak liow up to the fu1150-year
peak fiow.
S[ormwater Sde Plan Report OQO
Everett SchooDistri[t .
Community Resource Center 3
208387.10
