'� Spillable Materials and Location <br /> Potential spillable substances ansite include gasoline, diesel fuel, and vehicle Fluids (lubricating <br /> oil, hydraulic Fluid, brake fluid, etc.). No petroleum products will be stored onsi;e. Any onsite <br /> vehicle and equipment fueling will occur in a single designated location in the construction <br /> staging area; this area will be located away from drainage courses and inside secondary <br /> containment. <br /> Spill Prevention <br /> The following spill prevention procedures wiil be used: <br /> No vehicle maintenance other than emergency repair and daily maintenance activities will be <br /> performed on the projed site. No fresh or used engine Fluids witl be stored on the projed site. <br /> 1. Vehicle and equipment fueling will occur in a single designated location within the <br /> construction staging area; this area will be located away from a'rainage courses and inside <br /> secondary containment; and <br /> 2. Oil absorbent pads and drip pans wili be placed under vehicles being fueled and under <br /> parked vehicles. <br /> Spill Kit <br /> � spill kit consisting of the following materials will be kept onsite. Any spill kit materials used will <br /> be replaced w:thin 2 days. <br /> • 3 - pairs of rubber gloves <br /> • 3 - protective goggles or glasses (or face shields) <br /> • 1 - set of spill response procedures(below) <br /> • I2 • oil absorbent pads <br /> • 1 - roll of visqueen <br /> • 2 - rolls of duct tape for temporary patching of lines and t�nks, etC. <br /> • L - container of repair/auto putty for patching of lin�s and lanks, etc. <br /> • 5 gallons - loo>e absorbent material (Floor sweep, kitty litter, etc.) <br /> • 2 - permanent markers For labeling contaminated materials <br /> • 24 - heavy-dury garbage bags <br /> • t00 feet - oil absorbent boom <br /> • 2 - shovels <br /> • 10 - copies of Spill Report Form (see below) <br /> Spill Response Procedures <br /> The following spill response procedures will be used, in order: <br /> 1. Hazard lissessment: llssess the source, e�Rent, and quantity of the spill. <br /> 2. Securement and Personal Protedion: If the spill cannot be safely and effectively <br /> controlled, evacuate the area and immediately notify outside response services (go to <br /> Step 5).
