The comments below are in the szme format as was provided in your comment tetter and are <br />typed verbatim. Our responses are shown in bold after each comment. <br />It should also be noted that in the interim between when we submitted plans for a building permit and <br />now, we have determined the need ior the installation of a shoring wall to accommodate the removal <br />of unsuitable soils and foundation wall construclion. The temporary shoring wall is shown on Drawings <br />HM1.0, C302, SN101, SH102, SH103 and SH104. We are submitting lwo sets oi revised drawings <br />along with this response letter. <br />General comments <br />1. The atrium requires separation from adjacent spaces of a one hour fire barrier, or a horizontal <br />assembly, or both, per IBC section 404.6. Please show how the applicable requirements of <br />IBC sections 404, 707, and 712 have been mel on the drawings. <br />Response: Atrium issue rescfnded by Meg Haley per attached email that points to an <br />exception for 2-story atriums. The opening to the first is dimensioned on 2/A412 <br />Callouts for a smoke apron and sprinkler requirements around this opening are shown <br />on sheet A121. The smoke apron (draft curtain) is detailed on 11A572. <br />2. Plumbing fixture calculalions should be shown on the drawings to meet ihe requirements of <br />IBC chapter 29, including the occupancy lo�d calculations based on the requirements ot this <br />chaF :r. <br />Respvnse: See resubmitted sheet G002 for Qlumbing fixture calcu,lation table.
