The refiecled ceiling pian drawings should include a legend lo support drawing locations of the <br />symbols for exit signs per IBC seclion 1011.1, emergency exit lighting per IBC section 1006.1, <br />and tactile exit signs per IBC section 1011.3. <br />Response: See attached sheets E001 and E200 through E203 for lighting plans that <br />indicate aIl exit signs ard emergency lighting. Tactile signs will be instalied at doors to <br />exit enclosures and passageways per signage specifications that direct the contractor <br />to install aIl required ADA and egress required signage. <br />4. In order to eliminate H occupancy categories from this building, please indicate the material, <br />class, storage amount, use and system of hazardous materials posing a physical or health <br />hazard, per IBC tables 307.1(1) and 307.1(2). <br />Response: There are no hazardous materials stored within this building as indicated in <br />IBc; Tables 307.1(1) and 307.1�2�. <br />5. If the 22 types of one hour partitions listed on sheet A621 are not used on this project, plea,e <br />cross out the specific partition types that are not referenced on the ptans. <br />Response: All partition types indicated on Sheet A6;�i are used on this project. Many <br />of thece partition types are utilized in areas where a rating isn't required but meet the <br />UL ratings inherently by their construction but may also be used in areas where a rating <br />is required. Sheet G-00.2 indicates where rated assemblies aro required. <br />6. How is accessibility provided wilh regards lo the accessible route from designated accessible <br />parking areas, seating, counters, point of sale service counters, controls and operating <br />mechanisms, sinks, and kitchens per IBC sections 1709.10, 1109.11.3, 1109.12, 1109.3, and <br />1109.4 ? <br />Response: Tna accessiblQ route from designated accessible parking areas is shown on <br />Sheets L120 and 121. Point of sale counters have accessible counter heights and are <br />shown on 131A42S and 81A425. Kitchen sinks have no toe kick which allows wheel <br />chair bound peupie to open the cabinet doors and move in closer. Typicai mounting <br />heights for various Tixtures, toilet accessories and other items are dimensioned on <br />271A427 which include sevetral ADA minimum andlor maximum heights required. <br />Occupancy <br />1. Occupancy type, occupancy load calculations, and square footage areas should be shown to <br />support the occupancy load iniormation shown on sheet G002, summarized per tloor. The <br />occupancy load on the basement floor should be included. <br />Response: See resubmitted sheet G002 for occupancy load calculations. The total <br />occupants for each floor are loc�ted in tho bottom right comer of each plan. The <br />Nreakdown per occupancy is in the table under the Code Summary. The Room <br />Occupancy Schedule on Sheet G003 also calculates the totals based on net square <br />;ootage of each room. <br />2.
