High Puriry Float Glass: Low Iron TranspareM Glass (LITG), PPG Starfire, Schott. or <br />Pilkington. <br />C. f.ow•Emissivity Coated Glass: Sputler coated, low-emissivity coating on second suriace ot <br />clear iloat glass, heat treated as required. <br />1. Vertical IGU: Neutral color, PPG Indusiries Solarban 60, Viracon VE-1-2M, or approved. <br />a. Shading Coeflicient : 0.44. <br />b. Summer and W inter U-Value: 0.29. <br />c. Visible Light Transmission: 69 Percent. <br />d. Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC): 0.37. <br />;>. Sloped IGU: Neutral color PPG Industries Solarban 70XL, applied to Starphire substrate. <br />a. Shading Coetficient : 0.31. <br />b. Summer and Winter U-Valua: 0.27 and 0.29 respectively. <br />c. Visible Light Transmission: 63 Percent. <br />d. Solar Heat Gain Coetficient (SHGC): 0.27. <br />e. Outdoor Visible Light Reflectance: 11 percent. <br />D. Heal-Treated Primary Glass Products: ASTM C 1048, by horizonlal method with rollwave <br />distortion parallel to boltom edge ot glass. Provide fully tempered glass (or glazing in <br />liazardous locations. Heat treat glass where necessary to resist thermal stresses induced by <br />diflerential shading of individual glass lights and for all lighfs 35 square teet and larger. <br />1. Clear Tempered: Kind FT, Condition A. <br />2. Coated Clear Heat-Sirengthened: Kind HS, Condition B. <br />3. Tempered Sa(ety Glazing: Comply with Performance requirements. <br />4. Glass Guards. <br />a. GL-7: 0.5 inch thick clear iully lempered float. <br />b. GL-8: 0.5 inch thick clear tully tempered tloat with patterned ceramic irlt. <br />Ceramic Fritled Glass: <br />t. Spardrel Frit: PPG OPACICOAT on heal sirengthen, high purily float glass substrate in <br />color selected (rom manu(acturer's complete range of options. <br />2. GL-8: Provide ceramic (rit in pattern indicated and as othenvise required (or glass guards. <br />Fire Rated Glazing for Work of Section OB 44 14: Laminated intumescent glazing material. UL <br />Test Report R16644 for glazing units in sizes and con(iguration indicated having ihe required <br />fire resistance rating. Material shall comply with safery glazing per(ormance requiremenis as <br />necessary for localions indicated.
