, � . . , Since t.�e sitework will occur adjacent to some steep slopes, ccrtain measures should be taken to i prevent erosion and sedimentetion. These measuros might include but are not be limited to the ' following: I • From October 1 to April 30, no soils may remain expoeed for more than 'l days. From May 1 to September 30, no soil may remain exposed for moro then 7 days. � • Materials,equipment, end other resources shall be on eite at all time�, in adequate quentities to immediately stabilize ell soil. • Denuded areas shall be covered by mulch, sod,pfastic, or other BMP's as per the City of Everett's Stormwater Manegement manual. • Soil stockpiles ehell be stabilized or protected with sediment retention BMPe within 24 hours of formation to prevent soil loss. • Grading and construction ahall be timed and conducted in atages to minimize soil expowre. • The contractor shell establish a permanent vegetative ground cover to control soil erosion and to survive severe weather conditions on all ereas of land disturbance not otherwiae permanently stabilized by impervious surfeces or other means. • The contractor ahall maintain and repair as necessary all temporary and permanent erosion and sedimentation wntrol BMPe to assure their continued performancc through consttuction ecceptance and extending to the rclease of all associeted warranty security and maintenance security. • Before performing any grading or clearing,the contrector ahall mark,in the field,the limita of all proposed clearing and grading,critical areas and their butl'ers, trees to be retained, and drainage courses. • The contractor shsll protect storni sewer inleta receiving storm weter runoffduring construction so that water will not enter the inlet without firet being filtered or otherwise treated to minimize the amount of sediment entering the inlet. • The contractor shall route storm water runoff from diaturbed areas of the site through sediment ponds,traps or other sediment retention BMPa prior to discharge from the aite. The BMPs shall be installed aa the firot step in grading, and ahall be in operetion beforo eny other site disturbance occura • The wntractor shall preserve a vegeteted buffer strip er�und the lower perimeter of the site. • The contractor ahall design and construct temporary and permanent BMPs edequate to prevent erosion of outlets,adjacent atream banks, slopes and downstream reachea. • The contractor shall implement fully the erosion and sedimentation control plan et Wach stage of site development. •
