Mr. Saird was abaent. <br /> Mr. Russell announced that item i on the agenda, Northshore <br /> Construction Inc. is postponed Eor thirty (30) days because of <br /> an incorrect publication. <br /> A hearin9 was held on the application of Dean Olson 604 Tamarack, <br /> Everett, WA 96203 for a variance from Section 19 .42 .010 of the <br /> Everett Municipal Code , Corner Lota - Sight Clearance for permission <br /> to construct a garage and come to withi.n five (5) feet of the side <br /> yard property line for a corner lot rather than the code requirement <br /> of ten (10) feet from the side property line for a corner lot. <br /> Legal Description: Lot 17 fleverly liills Div. #6 <br /> Addresa: 604 Tamarack <br /> Zoning: R-2 Single-Family High Density Residence <br /> Mr. John Cross, a building contractor, represented Mr. Olson and <br /> made the following statements : <br /> 1. The utility shed along the east side of the existing <br /> residence will be removed. <br /> 2 . There have been two variances granted to neighbora for similar <br /> uses pYior to this hearing. <br /> There was some discussion at this time on a letter written by the <br /> Public Works Department of the City of �verettt concerning cars parking <br /> in driveways and causing obstruction of pedestrian flow; the <br /> residenta were made aware of this. Also, it was noted that the developer <br /> would need to keep the proposed construction costs for the addition <br /> below the 508 value of the existing residence. <br /> There was no opposition from the audience. <br /> After viaually v3.ewing the subject proper.ty and conaidering all the <br /> facts it was moved by Mr. Berg seconded by Mr. Kristiansen and <br /> unanimously carried to deny the applicant' s request as it does not <br /> meet all the requirements of Section 19 •70 . 060 Paragraphs 1,2 , 3, and 4 . <br /> IA hearing was held on the application of Joe and Lovetta Armitage, <br /> 5820 Cady Road, Everett, WA 98203 for a variance from Section 19 . 16. 050 <br /> (1) <br />
