CITY OF EVERETT - BOARD OF ADJUBTMENT <br /> MINUTES <br />� <br /> May 7, 1979 <br /> Mr. Rusaell returned to resume chairmanship of the meeting. <br /> , <br />'I Mr. ideker represented himself and made the following statementa: <br /> I 1. He is asking for five (5) large off street parking stalls <br /> rather than six (6) smaller ones. <br /> 2. There will be roor., for a refuse container in front of <br /> the parking area. <br /> Celia Strong of Public Works stated the public works department <br /> prefers 5 � 10 feet off street parkinq stalls rather than four <br /> (4) standard and two (2) substandard parking spaces. <br /> IThere was no opposition from the audience. <br /> After visually viewing the subject property and hearing all the <br /> facts, it was moved by Mr. Black, seconded by Mr. Wilson and <br /> unanimously carried to grant the variance as it meets all the <br /> require.ments of Section 19. 70. 060 of the Everett Municipal Code, <br /> paragraphs 1, 2, 3, & 4 . <br /> The one stipulation to the granting of the variance is 5-10 feet <br /> off strc�r_t parking stalls be provided as per the submitted plan. <br /> A hearing was held on the application of _Phillia Mcalister, 5830 <br /> Cady Roac:, Bverett, Washington 98203 for a variance r�om�ection <br /> 19. 16. 050 Everett Municipal Code, Yard Requirements, paragraph B <br /> for permission to add to an existing garage and be able to build <br /> tu within nine (9) inches of the 3ide property line rather than <br /> the code requirement of five (5) feet. <br /> Legal Description: The north Thirty (30) feet oP Lot 39 and <br /> all o£ Lot 40 , Fairview Heights <br /> Addi-ess: 5£�30 Cady Road <br /> Zoning : R•-2 Sinyle I'amily Iiigh Density Residence <br /> Mr. F1cAlisl-.cr repr.esented hi.mself and made the following statements: <br /> 1.
